Qualifications for Position:
- Students must have completed PHY 231 with a grade of B or above, and must be approved by the instructor of that class. Students are expected to continue the calculus-based physics sequence, again maintaining a B in each class.
- Students must be able to interact with other students in a positive supporting manner.
- Students must be able to lift 25 lbs.
Expected Duties and Responsibilities:
- Workers are required to tutor students in both algebra and calculus based physics classes and assist the faculty member in grading lab reports, as directed by the instructor.
- Other responsibilities would involve filing, setting up lab equipment, and monitoring students who are making up missed labs.
